Senior & Junior Programmers

Duties include:

• Writing back-end code to support websites.
• Creating online tools and reports for use by clients.
• Developing new site features.

Qualified applicants should possess most or all of the following qualities:

• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP and HTML protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Perl. Strong knowledge of C++, Java, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages helpful.
• Previous experience with UNIX/Linux.
• Previous experience with JavaScript, ActiveX, Flash helpful.
• Previous experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) helpful.
• Ability to use Macintosh, Windows, and Linux platforms, and to debug web issues using browsers on each platform.

Pay based on skills and experience.

Content Author / Technical Writer

Duties include:

• Collaborating with clients and subject matter experts to create course content and other online resources.
• Repurposing existing materials into content suited for delivery via the web.
• Developing assessments and interactive exercises for online courses.

Qualified applicants should possess most or all of the following qualities:

• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, preferably without the use of WYSIWYG HTML editors.

Multimedia Specialist

Duties include:

• Creating interactive Flash media for online courses.
• Developing "look and feel" of pages sitewide.
• Designing educational portal sites for clients.

Qualified applicants should possess most or all of the following qualities:

• Strong Flash and ActionScript skills.
• Good sense of web-based design.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, preferably without the use of WYSIWYG HTML editors.
• Experience with PhotoShop, Illustrator and/or Freehand.
