Mentoring a studentMost of your students passed the course with a solid score. However, one student failed miserably after three attempts. You could just write him off as stupid or lazy, but wouldn't it be nice to know which it is? Especially if you will still need to work with him? Using the Cognitivity analysis tools, you can review every aspect of the student's use of the course. Did he view all the pages or just skip to the final? Did he attempt the quizzes, and if so, what were his scores? Are there particular subject areas that he missed, or were there problems in every unit? Did he have problems remembering facts, or applying the material to new situations? This information can be used to counsel the student and build a curriculum that will address his problem areas and allow him to utilize his personal strengths for your company. You may find that your problem student is capable and valuable after all. -- Copyright © 2002-2005 Cognitivity -- |
