As its name suggests, the Core can stand alone or provide the starting point for your company's e-learning platform. The Core utilizes the best aspects of Cognitivity's engine and lets you see exactly what e-learning can do for your organization without forcing you to commit to a costly, large-scale solution.

The Core introduces you to all aspects of Cognitivity's advanced technology. Content management, portal customization, reusable learning objects, and comprehensive tracking and administration allow you to begin to experience what e-learning can do for you. Once you commit to the LCMS core product, if you discover your company would benefit from more extensive use of any or all of Cognitivity's products, you can add them on as needed. Our system will grow with you, allowing you to expand the scope of your LCMS when you are ready.

The Core includes:

• A custom learning portal to host your online courseware. Cognitivity does not believe in diluting your image by forcing it into a standard template. Your portal will seamlessly integrate with your existing website.


• A secure administration area that contains up to 2 different subcommunities. Communities will be set up by Cognitivity staff.


• A registration page which allows users to self-enroll in courses.


• A protected reporting area that includes real-time access to 3 standard activity reports.


• A private, fully integrated, threaded message board with up to 3 discussion topics


• Real-time course editing capabilities.


• Enrollment for up to 3 users in a Cognitivity Core Training course at no charge. Includes training on how to edit courses, access reports, and request catalog additions.
